FS Java API Spring Boot Microservices

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a FS Java API Spring Boot Microservices. Responsibilities: • Design and architect complex solutions on a platform dedicated to high scale processing of large amounts of data • Mentor and direct team members on technology and specific design; Own issues and provide end-to-end solutions • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define and deliver our next generation ecosystem • Continuously evaluate and prototype emerging technologies within developer & test community to understand business value and feasibility • Digital mindset, and fluent across technology components including API Services development and consumption using modern frameworks and open source technologies • Engaging in working with global team of developers in leading best practices for software engineering Requirements • 8+ years of hands on software development experience in Java Web services and API solutions • Leadership and strong execution skills in a fast-paced environment using agile methodologies • Capability to support mission critical customer facing platforms and applications • Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions • Expertise in open source streaming products, Micro services and Message Oriented Middleware, Stream processing • Expertise leveraging multiple AWS offerings like EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda's, etc. • Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core and JavaScript • Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services • Experience in documenting APIs leveraging an API documentation framework (Swagger) • Experience in state-of-the-art tools and methods to enable efficiency, performance and agility through automating DevOps processes, continuous integration and delivery pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker) • Strong knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open source technologies • Experience using testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, etc. • Knowledge of web application development using JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, JQuery, Angular and NodeJS would be a plus • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database management systems • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
