Role description
City: Santa Monica, CA/ Seattle, WA
Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid
Duration: 12 months
Rate Range: Up to$100/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)
Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B
Must Have:
β’ 5+ years of experience in Python web development (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
β’ Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
β’ 3+ years of experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar tools
β’ Experience with infrastructure as code for cloud deployments
β’ Strong API development experience (REST/GraphQL)
β’ Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Python applications supporting internal developer platforms.
β’ Enhance the developer directory, service registry, and related APIs that manage identity, access, and metadata.
β’ Develop and maintain client libraries and support provisioning/deployment workflows.
β’ Implement secure, scalable features aligned with internal policy and compliance standards.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and platform teams to support automation and self-service capabilities.
β’ Participate in code reviews, feature demos, and sprint planning activities.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
β’ Proven ability to build and deploy production systems in AWS cloud environments.
β’ Experience building highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure systems.
β’ Familiarity with React or other front-end frameworks is a plus.
β’ Experience integrating applications with LDAP in Python preferred.
β’ Prior experience presenting technical solutions or demos to internal teams is advantageous.
