• Establish Standards: Evaluate, select, and vet cryptographic libraries for enterprise-wide standardization, creating a curated set of "golden" components for developers.
• Build Reusable Patterns: Develop reusable code patterns, API wrappers, and reference implementations for our core programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#).
• Provide Authoritative Guidance: Serve as the organization's foremost expert on crypto-agility, providing architectural consultation and design reviews for critical development projects.
• Champion PQC Readiness: Lead the technical research and architectural strategy for our transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography, transforming complex requirements into a practical, multi-year engineering roadmap.
• Collaborate and Influence: Work with the PQC Working Group, security teams, and executive leadership to align the technical roadmap with business objectives and risk posture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a proven record of leading large-scale, enterprise-wide technical initiatives.
• Expert-level proficiency in multiple modern programming languages and distributed systems design.
• Deep, authoritative knowledge of applied cryptography, including PKI, TLS, key exchange, digital signatures, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Experience designing and building platform-level tools, libraries, or frameworks that have been successfully adopted by other engineering teams.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both engineering and leadership audiences.
