Job Title: Functional Data Domain Lead – Investments Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Office Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Data Domain Lead – Investments to drive our investment data management, analytics, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will partner with Investment, Technology, and Architecture teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that enhance investment insights, portfolio management, and decision-making capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the investment data domain, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent data across systems. Partner with Investment teams to understand technology needs and challenges related to investment data, analytics, and portfolio management. Collaborate with IT teams and solution architects to design, develop, and implement scalable technology solutions aligned with investment strategies. Oversee the integration of investment data from multiple sources into a centralized platform to support efficient analysis and reporting. Stay current with emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, cloud computing) relevant to insurance and investment functions. Contribute to the development of a technology roadmap supporting future investment growth and innovation. Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to key stakeholders and leadership teams. Identify and manage project risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure successful delivery of initiatives. Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex investment and financial data challenges. Apply hands-on data analysis skills using SQL or similar query languages for data validation and insights. Effectively manage multiple priorities, deliverables, and timelines in a fast-paced environment. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business and technology functions. Required Qualifications: Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in investment data management or related domains. Proven expertise in investment data, reporting, and analytics within financial services or insurance. Strong knowledge of data governance, architecture, and integration principles. Demonstrated proficiency in SQL or equivalent query languages. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools. Experience leading data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.
