Job Title: Data Analyst (Game Titles)
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract on W2 (Possible extension)
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst, this role is designed to support our teams with data-driven insights and analytics, contributing to key projects and initiatives.
This role focuses on empowering developers to optimize their game titles through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities include partnering with studios to enhance understanding of player behavior, analyze in-game data to improve retention and monetization, establish KPIs, and champion best practices in game analytics.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in game analytics or data science, strong analytical and statistical skills (SQL, Python/R, data visualization), experience with A/B testing, and excellent communication abilities to translate complex data into actionable narratives.
Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
Proficiency with data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to have skills:
Familiarity with live ops economies.
Game publishing.
Experience building digital economies in high-profile gaming titles
Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support business decisions.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with client's standards.
Present findings and recommendations to business leaders in a clear and concise manner.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
Proficiency with data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
