About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented GCP Business Analyst to support our cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth migration of SQL Server environments to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while maintaining security, efficiency, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and document technical migration options, dependencies, and integration points for SQL Server environments.
Conduct application connectivity mapping and perform gap analysis related to security and network segregation during cloud migrations.
Gather, organize, and maintain technical inventories (procedures, SSIS packages, etc.) while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Track and report on activity progress, ensuring transparent communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
Deliver clear, structured, and high-quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate effectively in an agile environment, particularly within risk and security engagements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in cloud migration or infrastructure transformation projects.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on technical and operational clarity.
Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) is highly preferred.
Hands-on familiarity with SQL Server environments and integration tools (e.g., SSIS).
Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities efficiently.
