Job Title: GCP Cloud Engineer
Duration: long-term contract
Location: Hybrid (x2 days from Sheffield)
Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You’ll work closely with architecture, DevOps, and security teams to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud workloads.
• Ensure compliance, security, and cost optimization best practices.
Key Skills:
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute, Storage, VPC, IAM)
• Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), and CI/CD tools
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go
• Knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring tools
