Role description
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven Architect Experience: Demonstrated history as a Data Architect or Solutions Architect, with a strong focus on data platforms and solutions.
• Deep GCP Expertise: Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable and high-performance cloud infrastructure, with a deep understanding of core GCP data services (e.g., BigQuery, Data Flow, DataStream, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub).
• Security & Compliance: Ability to implement security best practices, ensure data privacy, and maintain regulatory compliance within the cloud environment.
• Cloud Cost Management: Strategic development and implementation of cloud cost monitoring, optimization, and resource utilization strategies.
• Technical Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with data processing tools and languages, including Python, Spark, and the listed GCP-native tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to coordinate effectively with development, security, and DevOps teams to ensure efficient and integrated solution delivery.
• Client Engagement: Exceptional communication and presentation skills to confidently engage with clients and technical/non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• GCP Certification: Current Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect certification.
• Multi-Cloud/Hybrid Experience: Experience in designing or working within hybrid or multi-cloud environments (e.g., knowledge of Azure is a plus).
• Enterprise Transformation: Prior experience leading or contributing to enterprise-scale data transformation and migration initiatives.
