Job#: 3042215 Job Description: Data Engineer Location: Eagan, Minnesota (Remote) Role Overview We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Data Engineer to design, build, test, and support data integrations. This role involves implementing solutions for integrating with third-party vendors and establishing new data patterns. The position requires a professional who can contribute to solutions independently while collaborating with technical leads and solution architects. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design of technology solutions to ensure they meet resiliency, stability, and functional requirements. • Develop, maintain, and support existing data systems and platforms. • Implement integrations with new third-party vendors. • Establish and build upon new and existing data patterns for various programs. • Manage work direction and provide feedback to other team members. • Own technology solutions, including proactive monitoring and developing a technological roadmap. • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the data engineering space. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required. A High School Diploma or GED is required. Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including application development or package software implementation. Experience with data integration and batch processing is necessary. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL. • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. • Experience with data pipeline development. • Understanding of data governance principles. • Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without a need for work visa or residency sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with GCP services, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow). • Experience with claims data or in the PBM/healthcare industry. • Knowledge of streaming or batch processing pipelines (e.g., Apache Beam, Dataflow). • Experience working in an Agile/Product Delivery model. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
