GCP Engineer

Mid–Senior GCP Engineers needed! Multiple spots! (Google Cloud Platform) Location: Fully Remote Clearance: Active Secret (or ability to obtain – sponsorship available) Employment Type: W2 or 1099 Overview: We are seeking three (3) Mid-to-Senior Level GCP Engineers to support a federal government client. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible employment options (W2 or 1099). Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance or be eligible for sponsorship. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for government clients. • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GCP services with existing systems. • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance and automation processes. • Ensure compliance with government and security standards. Qualifications: • 3–7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud Storage, VPC, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions. • Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar). • Experience supporting or working with federal or government clients preferred. • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain (sponsorship available).
