Role Description JD: GCP Network Must required skill – Devops Skillset Required: β€’ Recent experience designing and delivering hybrid-cloud platforms and services, automated API-driven systems with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and agile delivery models β€’ Able to follow and iteratively improve domain-owned services as GCP and other cloud-based products mature + develop new features where other emerging technologies present an opportunity β€’ Ability to work with a team of engineers to deliver domain-owned deliverables and dependencies β€’ Continuous curiosity to learn and develop themselves with industry best practice methods and tooling in the cloud function β€’ Technology agnostic and are willing to adapt their approach in pursuit of the best solution β€’ Significant experience of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines using cloud native and third-party tooling – Git, Terraform Cloud, HashiCorp Vault, Harness, Jenkins β€’ Manage Incidents and Problems to resolve (and advance) enterprise networking connectivity issues to β€’ Review and feedback on code changes for your fellow team members. β€’ Perform all engineering tasks in compliance with the Control and Security requirements Scope of services Our Cloud Engineering team is looking for an experienced and passionate Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on development experience. As a Cloud Engineer you’ll be an active and leading member of a cloud-focused team of engineers – working on one of the Group’s flagship projects to deliver a strategic platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that will enable the business to realise the next generation of services that form the Bank’s vision for 2020 and beyond!
