GCP Workspace Engineer

Job Title: GCP Workspace Engineer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking a GCP Workspace Engineer to manage, optimize, and secure Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. This role will focus on administration, automation, security, integrations, and troubleshooting across the Google ecosystem. Key Responsibilities • Administer and support Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Chat, and Admin Console). • Manage and integrate GCP services including Cloud Identity, IAM, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and App Engine. • Automate workflows, user provisioning, reporting, and policy enforcement using Google Apps Script ,Python, Bash, gcloud CLI, and APIs. • Implement security controls such as DLP, MFA/2FA, and Context-Aware Access. • Troubleshoot and resolve Google Workspace and GCP-related issues. • Collaborate with IT, Security, and DevOps teams to improve cloud operations and productivity. Required Skills • Experience administering Google Workspace and GCP environments. • Strong knowledge of Cloud Identity, IAM, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and App Engine • Experience with Google Apps Script, Python, or Bash scripting. • Experience with API integrations and SaaS applications • Knowledge of identity management, security, and compliance best practices. • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Google Workspace environments. • Google Cloud or Google Workspace certifications. • Familiarity with cloud security standards and compliance frameworks.
