Role description
GenAI Engineer This is a fully-remote/full-time/3-6 month contract position. Hourly range based on experience: $70-$75/HR We're seeking an experienced GenAI Engineer for a contract engagement to deliver customer-facing AI solutions. You'll work directly on client projects, building production-ready GenAI applications using Amazon Bedrock and advanced agentic frameworks to solve real business challenges. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement GenAI solutions using Amazon Bedrock, including prompt engineering, model selection, and optimization • Build and deploy LLM-powered applications with vector databases (Weaviate) for semantic search and retrieval • Develop agentic workflows and multi-agent systems using Agent Core • Write production-quality Python code for data processing, API integration, and application development • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions Required Qualifications: • Expert-level proficiency in Python and software engineering best practices • Experience with ETL processes, API development, and data pipeline architectures • Deep understanding of LLM architectures, RAG patterns, and prompt engineering • Proven experience with Amazon Bedrock and AWS AI services • Strong knowledge of vector databases, particularly Weaviate • Experience building agentic systems and multi-agent orchestration • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
