REMOTE!! Start up exp a must:)!! We’re looking for a Principal AI Engineer to join our Engineering team and build cutting-edge conversational AI solutions. You’ll play a leading role in designing and deploying intelligent chatbots, virtual assistants, recommendation systems, and multi-agent AI frameworks that turn real-world use cases into robust, scalable workflows. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of applied AI, working at the forefront of conversational AI innovation in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. Responsibilities β€’ Build AI/ML pipelines and integrations using Python, LLMs, and LangChain/LlamaIndex. β€’ Design and implement agent-based AI architectures (Agentic AI) to enable autonomous, multi-step task completion. β€’ Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, craft use cases, and translate them into user stories and technical requirements. β€’ Rapidly prototype and refine AI-driven features with direct client and user feedback. β€’ Fine-tune large language models for domain-specific tasks, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and efficiency. Qualifications β€’ 3+ years of strong Python development experience. β€’ Hands-on expertise with LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, etc.). β€’ Proficiency in LlamaIndex for vector data ingestion, indexing, and retrieval. β€’ Proven experience building or integrating agentic/multi-agent AI systems. β€’ Skilled at simplifying complex technical concepts for stakeholders. β€’ Preferred: background in educational technology, or related fields. Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment with strong self-management and collaboration skills.
