Role description
Role: - Github Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ – Day 1 Onsite Type: Onsite Job Description: Must have experience with GitHub Actions and enterprise-level administration. ∙ Experience working with self-service solutions and enterprise systems. ∙ Must have experience with a variety of GitHub Apps at the enterprise level. ∙ Must have experience working with enterprise-grade workflows & reusable workflows. ∙ Programming proficiency. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Ruby for automation tasks using any language. ∙ Experience working on cloud and security tooling (CHAS). ∙ Demonstrable knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including domain knowledge in one or more of the following: ∙ Source Control Management (SCM), including Git & GitHub workflows and the value of DevOps and SRE. ∙ Strong experience with DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines). ∙ Manage and maintain orchestrated solutions, isolating self-contained components, automating, securing the execution environment, and workflow orchestration. ∙ Proficiency in messaging Kubernetes environments using tools such as Kubectl, Flagger, and Helm. ∙ Administer, maintain, and monitor the Kubernetes clusters and hardware infrastructure. ∙ Design and manage the Kubernetes cluster architecture and components effectively. ∙ Monitor and optimize Kubernetes resources, such as pods, nodes, and namespaces. ∙ Overall 7+ years of experience in CI/CD administration, with deep expertise in DevOps Actions, continuous integration, and microservices optimization. ∙ Strong scripting, API integration, and automation skills (e.g., REST/GraphQL APIs, CLI, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes). ∙ Experience with scaling practices, disaster recovery, complication and internal services optimizations. ∙ Cloud experience (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps security best practices.
