Role description
The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced GitHub Enterprise & DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in build automation, CI/CD, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) administration, GitHub Actions, and modern DevOps tools across multiple programming languages and cloud environments.

Project Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain GitHub Enterprise Server environments, including GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, autoscaling, and secure execution environments.
Create and manage GitHub Apps, enterprise workflows, and reusable workflows to support development and automation at scale.
Administer and optimize builds and deployments for multiple programming languages such as Java, Node.js, and Python (experience with .NET and Go is a plus).
Leverage GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) for code scanning, dependency management, and security best practices.
Integrate automation through scripting, APIs, and tools like GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs, GitHub CLI, Terraform, and Ansible.
Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters using tools such as kubectl, Rancher, and Helm; monitor and optimize resources including pods, nodes, and namespaces.
Oversee CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, ensuring efficient and secure code delivery pipelines.
Participate in GHES upgrade planning, disaster recovery, replication, and performance tuning activities.
Collaborate across development and infrastructure teams to drive DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong proficiency with Git-based SCM tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, SVN).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Enterprise administration.
Programming and scripting skills in Python and Java for automation and integration.
Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Docker for containerized deployments.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (GitHub Cloud, GCP, or similar).
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in GitHub Enterprise Server administration and DevOps engineering.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture, automation frameworks, and enterprise SDLC.
Experience implementing DevOps security best practices across cloud and container environments.
Proven record of successful supply chain ERP implementations.
