About the Role We are seeking an experienced G-Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in London. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud technologies and government frameworks, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud solutions for public sector clients. Key Responsibilities • Design and deploy cloud-based solutions in compliance with UK Government G-Cloud standards. • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Ensure security and compliance with government regulations and data protection laws. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and cost-effective solutions. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud environments. • Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices. Essential Skills & Experience • Proven experience in cloud engineering within the public sector or similar regulated environments. • Strong knowledge of G-Cloud frameworks and procurement processes. • Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP services. • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools. • Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Desirable • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional. • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration. • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies.
