Role description
Graph Data Science Specialist Duration: Until 31st March 2026 Day rate: Up to £675 Per Day Location: Stratford, London Your recruitment contact is Sartaj via Sartaj.Deol@hays.com. About the organisation Our client is an independent regulatory body in the UK responsible for ensuring the financial markets work well for the consumers and the economy, promoting market integrity and effective competition. Role Responsibilities: (Up to 5 points selling the role) • Design and optimise graph data structures on Amazon Neptune for analytical workloads to enhance operational excellence • Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to identify opportunities and generate critical insights to enhance business operations • Implement graph algorithms and graph ML techniques (e.g., link prediction, node classification, anomaly detection) using Neptune Analytics Skills: Minimum: • Proven experience with Amazon Neptune or Neo4j in production settings • Prior experience with graph analyticals and graph machine learning workflow and embeddings • Proven experience in (open)Cypher and/or Gremlin query languages Essential: • Strong communication skills, both written and oral • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL • Awareness of cloud based deployments and DevSecOps principles • Familiarity with AML/FinCrime typologies (e.g., mule networks, sanctions evasion, beneficial ownership).
