Guidewire Claim Center Developer / Consultant Remote (US) Job Type: W2 Contract Description โ€ข The Guidewire Claim Center Developer / Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end design, configuration, development, integration, and implementation of solutions on the Guidewire Claim Center platform. Key Responsibilities โ€ข Design, configure, develop, test, and implement Guidewire Claim Center solutions. โ€ข Configure claims functionality, including first notice of loss, exposures, activities, assignments, reserves, payments, recoveries, subrogation, litigation, and claim closure. โ€ข Develop business rules, workflows, validation rules, assignment rules, and user-interface configurations using Guidewire Studio. โ€ข Build and customize solutions using Gosu, PCF, entities, typelists, data-model extensions, plugins, and Guidewire configuration frameworks. โ€ข Design and implement integrations between ClaimCenter and internal or third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, messaging, plugins, and batch processes. โ€ข Lead technical-design discussions and recommend solutions aligned with Guidewire standards and enterprise architecture. โ€ข Support ClaimCenter upgrades, cloud migrations, platform modernization, and product-version enhancements. Required Qualifications โ€ข Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. โ€ข At least 7 years of overall technology experience, including 4 or more years of hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter development experience. โ€ข Experience participating in at least one end-to-end Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation or major upgrade. โ€ข Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Studio, Gosu, PCF, entities, typelists, business rules, workflows, plugins, and data-model extensions. โ€ข Strong experience developing ClaimCenter integrations using REST, SOAP, messaging, batch-processing, and plugin frameworks. โ€ข Proficiency in object-oriented programming, XML, JSON, SQL, and web-service technologies. โ€ข Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance and the end-to-end claims lifecycle. โ€ข Experience with claims functions such as coverage verification, exposures, reserves, payments, recoveries, subrogation, litigation, and claim closure. Preferred Qualifications โ€ข Guidewire ClaimCenter certification. โ€ข Guidewire Cloud certification or hands-on Guidewire Cloud experience. โ€ข Experience with ClaimCenter upgrades or migrations to Guidewire Cloud. โ€ข Experience with other Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ContactManager, and DataHub. โ€ข Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform, Integration Gateway, and related cloud services. โ€ข Experience with AWS, Azure, or other enterprise cloud platforms. โ€ข Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, or Gradle. โ€ข Familiarity with automated testing tools and Guidewire testing frameworks. โ€ข Understanding of insurance regulatory, security, audit, and data-privacy requirements.
