Guidewire Data Migration Architect

Lead end-to-end data migration strategy for Guidewire ClaimsCenter Cloud programs, covering discovery, profiling, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and production cutover. Drive scalable, high-performance AWS-based data pipelines and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across large-scale policy, billing, and claims migrations. Key Responsibilities: • Own full lifecycle of Guidewire data migration, including mock runs and go-live cutover • Lead data mapping from legacy systems to Guidewire data model ensuring consistency and alignment • Define and implement ETL/ELT and tooling strategy using Guidewire DMF/IDMF and AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, EMR) • Architect and optimize high-volume data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability • Establish data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks • Drive migration testing, business validation, and reconciliation processes • Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and oversight for onshore/offshore teams • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and cloud architecture standards • Act as SME for Guidewire data model, DMF patterns, and integration touchpoints Required Skills & Experience: • Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimsCenter Cloud (at least one full cloud migration) • Strong expertise in data migration, ETL, and complex SQL processing • Experience with AWS data services (Glue, S3, Step Functions, RDS/Aurora, PySpark) • Knowledge of claims data models, financials, and historical data migration strategies • Experience in data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and migration testing • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe, code reviews, and tools like Azure DevOps Nice to Have: • Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) • Automation of reconciliation/reporting dashboards • Exposure to large-scale claims data migrations • Use of AI tools to accelerate migration activities
