Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Data QA Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data validation, ETL testing, SQL, and Guidewire systems. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data across Guidewire platforms and related data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Perform data quality assurance and validation for Guidewire applications and data integrations.
β’ Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
β’ Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
β’ Analyze data flows between Guidewire systems and downstream applications.
β’ Identify, document, and track data defects and inconsistencies.
β’ Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to resolve data-related issues.
β’ Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation for data validation processes.
β’ Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.
Required Skills:
β’ Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Validation
β’ Advanced SQL querying and data analysis
β’ Experience working with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter) data
β’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
β’ Experience with data mapping and reconciliation
β’ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Prior experience in the insurance domain
β’ Familiarity with data migration and data integration testing
β’ Experience with test automation tools for data testing
β’ Understanding of Guidewire data model
Education:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
