Guidewire Migration Analyst

Role Name: Guidewire Migration Analyst Location: Dallas, TX Duration: Long Term JOB DESCRIPTION: "Data Migration Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing planning and managing the business aspects of transferring data from Legacy system to Guidewire PolicyCenter ensuring data accuracy integrity and successful stakeholder adoption Key duties include gathering and documenting business requirements profiling source data creating data mapping specifications collaborating with IT and business teams providing required support to QA team in developing testing strategies and ensuring a seamless and efficient data transition with minimal disruption Key Responsibilities Requirement Gathering Elicit and document business needs for data migration working with stakeholders to understand data usage and business processes Data Analysis and Profiling Analyze source and target data to identify discrepancies quality issues and data integrity problems Data Mapping Create detailed data mapping specifications outlining how data will be transformed and transferred from the source system to the target system Strategy and Planning Develop and contribute to the data migration strategy risk assessments migration plans and quality testing strategies Collaboration Work closely with IT teams developers subject matter experts and business users to ensure effective planning and execution Documentation Create and maintain project documentation including functional and technical specifications test reports and training materials Process Improvement Recommend and implement improvements to the data migration process and data integrity standards Stakeholder Communication Communicate project status risks and progress to all relevant stakeholders Required Skills and Qualifications Analytical Problem Solving Skills A strong analytical mindset with attention to detail for identifying and resolving data issues Data Management Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases Business Process Understanding Ability to understand and document business processes affected by data migration Ideal candidate for this position will have below experience GW Policy Center Handled Guidewire Policy Migration Property and Casualty Insurance Data Migration Process ETL Knowledge Familiarity withETL process using IDMC tool is beneficial Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams Knowledge of Policy Migration Tool PMT Well versed in GW Data Model relationships"
