STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer on behalf of our client in Brea, CA. We are looking for a highly experienced professional with deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter development, configuration, and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise application development and a proven ability to design, develop, and support scalable insurance technology solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
• Implement Guidewire configurations, integrations, and customizations to support business requirements.
• Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
• Support CI/CD initiatives, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in IT application development.
• 4 6+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (v9.0 or higher).
• Strong experience in Guidewire Configuration and Integration.
• Expertise in RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and/or NoSQL technologies.
• Experience with application monitoring and performance analysis tools such as AppDynamics.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience working with Jenkins, JUnit, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills.
• Experience in application performance tuning and optimization.
• Ability to develop scalable, maintainable, and testable solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Exposure to Guidewire Cloud implementations and modern integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
