• We are seeking a Harness Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Harness.io (CI/CD & Internal Developer Platform), Python, and AWS/Azure cloud services.
• This role focuses on enhancing the Harness Developer Portal (IDP), optimizing CI/CD workflows, and improving build & deployment automation.
• Candidates must be able to implement features independently, troubleshoot across cloud environments, and work closely with Platform Engineering & DevOps teams.
🎯 Top 3 Required Skills (Mandatory)
1. Harness.io (Advanced) – CI/CD, Pipelines, IDP, GitOps, Automation
1. Python (Advanced) – scripting, automation, tooling
1. AWS & Azure (Advanced) – cloud-native builds, integration, deployments
✅ Required Skills
• Strong Harness expertise:
• Pipelines, Triggers, Delegates, Connectors
• IDP / Modules / Governance
• Policy as code (OPA), GitOps patterns
• Python (must be advanced) – automation, SDK integrations, CLIs
• AWS & Azure experience:
• ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM
• Azure DevOps pipelines, Container Apps, ACR
• Strong understanding of CI/CD & automation principles
• Basic Networking & Security knowledge
• Git, YAML, Docker, Terraform (preferred)
• Experience with SRE/DevOps tooling: Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor
✅ Detailed Responsibilities
• Implement and enhance the Harness.io Developer Portal (IDP).
• Build, optimize, and extend CI/CD pipelines, build workflows, and deployment automations.
• Develop Python-based automation tools, scripts, and integrations.
• Integrate Harness with AWS and Azure infrastructure, services, and DevOps components.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures, build issues, and cloud deployment configurations.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, and cloud security teams.
• Ensure best practices for security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Maintain documentation, standards, and reusable templates for teams.
