You will work on impactful projects involving Medicare and Medicaid payment models, utilizing your expertise in SQL, Python, R, SAS, and statistical methodologies to deliver actionable insights that drive policy and financial decisions. Qualifications β€’ Masters degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, or a related field β€’ 4+ years of experience in health analytics, research, consulting, or a similar environment β€’ Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, and/or SAS for data analysis β€’ Experience working with healthcare claims and enrollment data within large data warehouse environments β€’ Strong knowledge of healthcare data structures, patient attribution concepts, and claims data β€’ Ability to develop and verify analysis parameters, prepare detailed documentation, and write efficient, high-quality code β€’ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analyses clearly and collaborate effectively on teams Nice To Have β€’ Master’s degree or Ph.D. in relevant fields β€’ Academic coursework in statistics or econometric modeling β€’ Experience conducting statistical analyses to inform health policy decisions β€’ Familiarity with complex healthcare databases such as the Integrated Data Repository or Chronic Conditions Warehouse β€’ Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks β€’ Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid payment methodologies β€’ Experience with parallel processing techniques for large datasets β€’ Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VBA) and other data visualization tools β€’ Experience using artificial intelligence to support work Preferred Education And Experience β€’ Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, or Public Policy β€’ Extensive hands-on experience with large healthcare datasets and statistical modeling β€’ Experience with value-based healthcare, specifically payment model implementation β€’ Proven track record of delivering actionable insights to influence health policy and payment models Additional Requirements β€’ Availability to work on fast-paced projects requiring precision and attention to detail β€’ Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members β€’ Commitment to maintaining high standards in data accuracy and documentation Salary Range: $90K- $114K Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance What Blu Omega Can Offer You β€’ Competitive benefits including Health Insurance, 401K w/ match, Paid Time Off and more. β€’ Results driven culture that embrace our core values β€’ Rewarding work contributing to our Nation’s mission critical programs Blu Omega is a Woman Owned Small Business Federal Technology services firm headquartered in Washington DC and supporting clients nationally.
