Role description

• 100% Remote - EST
• We are seeking a highly motivated HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) Analyst to support the design, execution, and analysis of real-world evidence studies. This role will focus on leveraging large healthcare datasets to generate insights that inform clinical and business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, hands-on programming skills, and experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute observational research studies using real-world data (RWD) sources such as healthcare claims and EHR databases
• Analyze large datasets to evaluate clinical, economic, and patient outcomes
• Develop and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and statistical analysis
• Apply advanced statistical methods including regression and survival analysis
• Interpret results and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, data, and business teams
• Manage multiple projects across different therapeutic areas, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Ensure adherence to data governance, coding standards, and best practices
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional SAS programming experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience conducting real-world studies using large healthcare claims or EHR databases (e.g., MarketScan, PharMetrics Plus, Premier)
• Experience with Amazon Redshift
• Working knowledge of diagnostic, procedure, and healthcare coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS)
• Strong understanding of statistical methodologies, including regression and survival analysis
• Proven ability to design and execute observational research studies
• Strong project and study management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with additional tools such as R, R Shiny, Python, VBA, or Tableau
• Experience with Snowflake
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools
