Role description
Role: HP Nonstop DBA – Database Engineer Location: Tampa, FL (Day 1 Onsite) Contract Description As a Lead Database Engineer, you’ll play a key leadership role in designing and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions. Mandatory Skills • HP Nonstop SQL/MP and SQL/MX Database Administration • HP Nonstop COBOL Programming expertise with TACL scripting experience • Experience in Banking and Payments Domain is preferred • Experience in Oracle Golden Gate is preferred Years of experience required: 5+ Required Skillsets • Formal training or certification in HP NonStop SQL/MP & SQL/MX DBA concepts with 5+ years of practical experience. • Minimum 5 years of experience working with HP NonStop environments. • Proven hands-on background as a SQL/MP & SQL/MX Database Administrator with expertise on analyzing Query Plans and optimization. • Ability to automate database scripts using TACL. • Deep expertise in data analysis and application development, including experience using major data visualization tools. • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging modern software tools, platforms, and technologies to create innovative solutions. • Experienced in leading projects through organizational change and ambiguity, effectively managing dependencies and cross-functional collaboration.
