HP Tandem Engineer

Our client is a leading industrial services and manufacturing company specializing in high-quality solutions for commercial and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced HPE Tandem professional to support and maintain mission-critical enterprise systems in a 24x7 environment. This role is responsible for ensuring platform reliability, performance, security, and availability across production and disaster recovery environments. Qualifications · 5+ years of experience supporting HPE NonStop (Tandem/NSK) environments · Strong knowledge of Guardian and OSS environments · Hands-on experience with TACL, FUP, SCF, EMS, and MEASURE · Experience with Pathway and TMF transaction processing · Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and Expand · Experience with backup, recovery, and replication tools · Familiarity with system monitoring and performance tuning · Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call support Responsibilities · Install, upgrade, and maintain NonStop operating systems and RVUs · Perform system patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning · Configure and support Pathway, TMF, SCF, and EMS environments · Manage RDF, Shadowbase, Expand, clustering, and replication solutions · Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability · Support incident management, change control, and on-call rotations · Implement automation and scripting for operational efficiency · Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (PCI, audit requirements) · Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams · Participate in failover testing, DR drills, and business continuity planning You will receive the following benefits: • Medical Insurance - Four medical plans to choose from for you and your family • Dental, Orthodontia, and Vision Benefits • Voluntary Life Insurance, Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Insurance • 401(k) with pre and post-tax options • Paid Sick Time Leave Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
