Role description
Our client is a leading industrial services and manufacturing company specializing in high-quality solutions for commercial and infrastructure projects.
We are seeking an experienced HPE Tandem professional to support and maintain mission-critical enterprise systems in a 24x7 environment. This role is responsible for ensuring platform reliability, performance, security, and availability across production and disaster recovery environments.
Qualifications
ยท 5+ years of experience supporting HPE NonStop (Tandem/NSK) environments
ยท Strong knowledge of Guardian and OSS environments
ยท Hands-on experience with TACL, FUP, SCF, EMS, and MEASURE
ยท Experience with Pathway and TMF transaction processing
ยท Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and Expand
ยท Experience with backup, recovery, and replication tools
ยท Familiarity with system monitoring and performance tuning
ยท Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call support
Responsibilities
ยท Install, upgrade, and maintain NonStop operating systems and RVUs
ยท Perform system patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning
ยท Configure and support Pathway, TMF, SCF, and EMS environments
ยท Manage RDF, Shadowbase, Expand, clustering, and replication solutions
ยท Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability
ยท Support incident management, change control, and on-call rotations
ยท Implement automation and scripting for operational efficiency
ยท Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (PCI, audit requirements)
ยท Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams
ยท Participate in failover testing, DR drills, and business continuity planning
