Role description
About the Role: Responsibilities: • Report to the Lead Data Analyst, People Analytics. • Maintain and audit People Analytics dashboards and recurring reporting. • Support weekly and monthly reporting cadences, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and on-time delivery. • Support all people-related compliance reporting needs, including data preparation, validation, and submission support. • Assist in the preparation of analyses and insights in response to stakeholder requests. • Write and refine queries to gather and validate data from HR systems and reporting sources using SQL as needed. • Support Workday reporting and data extraction activities, including troubleshooting and basic configuration/report development, as applicable. • Document metric definitions, reporting logic, and data sources; identify and escalate data quality issues as needed. • Assist with ad hoc analytics and reporting requests from business leaders, balancing priorities against recurring deliverables. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; a Master's degree may substitute for some experience based on company policy. • Demonstrated experience in analytics or reporting within a People/HR, Operations, Finance, or similar data-driven environment. • Working knowledge of SQL to pull, join, and validate data from relational data sources. • Experience with Workday (or a similar HRIS), including reporting, data structures, or data extracts. • Experience maintaining BI dashboards and recurring reporting with a strong focus on data quality and auditability. • Experience leveraging approved AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, or similar tools) to improve workflow efficiency, support query development, summarize findings, document logic, and streamline reporting processes while maintaining data privacy and confidentiality. • Comfort handling sensitive and confidential employee data with discretion and sound judgment. • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain metrics, limitations, and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
