What you will be doing as the HR Reporting & BI Analyst:
• Extract and maintain workforce data from Dayforce for use in existing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Refresh, validate, and distribute scheduled HR reports and metrics.
• Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and investigate data quality issues.
• Partner with HR stakeholders to fulfill standard and ad hoc reporting requests.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity between Dayforce and Power BI.
• Monitor existing dashboards and reports to ensure data is current and functioning properly.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to identify anomalies and reporting errors.
• Maintain report documentation, reporting schedules, and data definitions.
• Support workforce analytics initiatives by providing accurate HR data and reporting.
• Assist with Power BI user access, report distribution, and report scheduling as needed.
• Handle confidential employee information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
• Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to resolve system or data-related issues.
What you will need as the HR Reporting & BI Analyst:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience supporting HR reporting, HRIS, or workforce analytics.
• Experience pulling and managing data within Dayforce required.
• Experience maintaining and refreshing Power BI reports and dashboards required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation.
• Experience with HR data, workforce metrics, and employee reporting.
• Experience validating and reconciling large data sets.
• Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Understanding of HR metrics, workforce data, and reporting concepts.
• Proficiency in Dayforce reporting tools and data extraction.
• Working knowledge of Power BI report maintenance and data refresh processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organization and time management abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Customer-service mindset with a focus on delivering accurate and timely reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting HR reporting in a multi-site or North American organization.
• Knowledge of Talent Acquisition, compensation, employee relations, and workforce planning metrics.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
• Previous experience supporting HR leadership through recurring workforce reporting and dashboards
