w:We are seeking a Vice President, Engineering β HR Technology to lead the technical strategy, architectural direction, and delivery of HR, people operations, and workforce analytics data across the firm. This role serves as a senior technical partner to both HR and Technology leadership, bridging business priorities, and engineering executio
n.
The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with a strong hands on foundation, capable of translating complex workforce, compensation, and organizational requirements into secure, scalable technical solutio
ns.
The Vice President will guide architecture and implementation while partnering closely with HR and Technology stakeholders to ensure sensitive employee data is accurately modeled, responsibly governed, and reliably delivered in support of decision making, compliance, and long term business ne
eds.

β’ d To:Lead and build full stack, enterprise grade platforms using Python, Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and SQL/NoSQL databases, while remaining hands on with
β’ code.Own and drive Low Level Design (LLD) and High Level Design (HLD) with deep understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and integration patt
β’ erns.Architect and develop secure, compliant sys
β’ tems.Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs that support internal and external consumers with high performance and reliabi
β’ lity.Drive non functional requirements including security, availability, scalability, resiliency, performance, and observabi
β’ lity.Lead engineering initiatives involving HR, people operations, and workforce analytics data, ensuring secure ingestion, modeling, governance, and integration of sensitive employee datasets across the firmβs technology ecosy
β’ stem.Partner with HR, Talent, and People Analytics teams to translate workforce planning, compensation, performance management, and organizational design requirements into scalable technical solutions and data prod
β’ ucts.Implement robust data quality, lineage, and privacy controls for HR data, ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal governance stand
β’ ards.Partner with product, data, and HR stakeholders to translate investment and operational requirements into scalable technical solut
β’ ions.Provide strong technical leadership and hands on guidance across the full software development lifec
β’ ycle.Demonstrate an excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design trade
offs.
Qualificat
β’ ions: Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
β’ field.5-8 years of professional software engineering exper
β’ ience.Proven track record of hands on development in enterprise scale systems, preferably
β’ in HR.Strong proficiency in at least one core programming language (Python or
β’ Java).Deep experience with relational databases, NoSQL stores, and complex query d
β’ esign.Comfortable operating in fast paced, iterative environments, balancing delivery with long term archite
β’ cture.Experience working with HR, people operations, or workforce analytics data, including sensitive data handling, HRIS integrations (e.g., Dayforce, Culture Amp, etc.), and secure data exchange pat
β’ terns.Demonstrated ability to build or support platforms involving employee lifecycle data, compensation structures, organizational hierarchies, and talent management work
flows.
Preferred Qualifica
β’ tions: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure, including infrastructure as code and cloud native se
β’ rvices.Experience with modern data engineering stacks including Snowflake, PowerBI, and analytical data pla
β’ tforms.Prior experience supporting HR operations technology pla
β’ tforms.Working knowledge of HR Information Systems pla
β’ tforms.Experience integrating HR data with enterprise analytics, financial systems, or operational platforms to support firm wide reporting, compliance, and workforce in
β’ sights.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders and align technology delivery with investment, operational, and people strategy prio
