Role : Business Analyst Supporting : Large Financial Services Client Location : Open to candidates local to Merrifield, VA or Pensacola, FL ( Hybrid) Assignment Type : Contract Only Duration : Approximately 9.5 months Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Identity & Access Management (IAM) to support enterprise access operations and process improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail‑oriented professional who can work independently, partner with stakeholders at all levels, and drive efficiencies across access and identity workflows. Key Responsibilities : • Analyze and support the full user provisioning lifecycle, including application and system access requests • Work hands-on with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms such as Saviynt IGA or SailPoint • Review and evaluate existing access workflows to identify inefficiencies and collaborate with teams to design and implement streamlined solutions • Serve as a key point of contact for access-related requests, providing a high level of customer service to technical teams, business users, and executive leadership • Conduct data analysis, reporting, and metrics tracking related to identity and access operations • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and security standards are maintained across all IAM processes Qualifications : Required: • Experience working as a Business Analyst within Identity & Access Management environments • Strong understanding of user provisioning and application access workflows • Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred: • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) experience • Automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, PEGA, or similar tools) • Active Directory / LDAP experience • Mainframe technologies such as RACF and DB2 • Remote access tools (VPN, RSA SecurID, Citrix) • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems • Data reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $73.00 per hour.
