Position Details:
ESB (IIB & ITX) Developer (Healthcare Integration Specialist) MI HUB is looking for a skilled Integration Developer with deep expertise in IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), and healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, HIPAA, FHIR). This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining integration of workflows and EDI map solutions for healthcare systems. Key Responsibilities: Healthcare Integration & HL7 Experience in the support of data integrations, preferably in a healthcare setting, including FHIR, REST and SOAP APIs, and HL7 v2 interfaces. Experience with transformation of EDI healthcare transactions (837P/I, 834, 835,997) with compliance check. Troubleshoot message parsing, validation, and routing issues ensuring healthcare compliance and data integrity. IBM Integration & ITX Development Design, develop, and test WTX/ITX maps for EDI-to-JSON and JSON-to-EDI transformations. Perform data transformations across XML, JSON, and other formats with encryption and authentication. Develop secure RESTful and SOAP APIs using IBM IIB/ACE and API Connect. Offer guidance on HL7 implementation, Rhapsody configuration, and ITX Rest Server mapping strategies. Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing architectural insights and technical estimations. Collaborate with QA and operations teams to validate integration flows and ensure smooth deployments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across distributed systems. Qualifications: Education: Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent experience. Experience: 2 years as an EDI/Integration Developer with healthcare IT focus. Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of ITX mappings (EDI β Json ) and IBM ITX HIPAA compliance checks. Strong understanding of HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3/CDA, healthcare workflows, and regulatory standards. Familiarity with FHIR, HIPAA, and security protocols. Proficiency in IBM IIB/ACE, ITX, API Connect, SOA principles, Web Services, XML technologies. Knowledge of DB, Java, SQL for SNIP 7 validation. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and ability to work independently in dynamic environments. Optional / Nice To Have: Rhapsody Integration Engine Professional Certification. Experience designing EDI solutions for hospitals, clinics, and labs using Rhapsody. Knowledge of Meaningful Use, HITECH Act, and clinical terminology.
