Job Description: The Incentive Compensation Analyst supports the Sales Operations team by administering and optimizing sales incentive compensation programs. This role is responsible for managing Sales Performance Management (SPM) systems, ensuring accurate commission calculations and payouts, and maintaining the integrity of compensation data. The analyst partners with HR, Finance, Payroll, Accounting, and Sales leadership to improve processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and ensure the timely and accurate execution of variable compensation programs. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Serve as the administrator for Sales Performance Management (SPM) systems, including configuration, reporting, and compensation plan validation. β€’ Configure and maintain sales compensation plans to ensure accurate commission calculations and timely payout cycles. β€’ Manage system updates related to new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations in partnership with HR and Sales Operations. β€’ Resolve inquiries from the Sales organization related to quotas, territories, credits, and commission payouts. β€’ Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to track sales performance and compensation metrics. β€’ Maintain and enhance documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process workflows. β€’ Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization of compensation tools. β€’ Partner with Accounting and Payroll to ensure accurate accruals and timely processing of variable compensation payments. Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, IT, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience). β€’ 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, or incentive compensation administration. β€’ 3+ years of hands-on experience working with SPM platforms such as Xactly Incent, Varicent, Spiff, or CaptivateIQ. β€’ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. β€’ Experience managing large datasets and building compensation models and reporting dashboards. β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Additional Details: β€’ Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred. β€’ Exposure to reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Cognos is a plus. β€’ Experience with Workday preferred. β€’ Opportunity to support a complex global sales compensation environment. β€’ High-visibility role working cross-functionally with Sales, HR, Finance, and Payroll.
