Role description
ValueMomentum is seeking a Software Developer who can Design, build and configure applications to meet our customersβ business needs and application requirements to join our growing Core Engineering Center.

Responsibilities
Following are the day-to-day work activities:
β’ Perform daily incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution including code checks and applying fixes or workarounds.
β’ Participate in Major/Sever Incident (MI/SI) calls for P1/P2 issues, providing technical expertise and timely updates.
β’ Review and provide solutions for Open Incidents, Requests, Problems.
β’ Coordinate daily/weekly cadence to review and update open tickets
β’ Create and maintain Knowledge Articles (KA) to document resolutions and support knowledge sharing.
β’ Engage with end users regularly to clarify issues, provide workarounds, and gather necessary inputs for resolution.
β’ Execute ad hoc activities like service account password changes, validation of batch files generated each day, data validations, data script executions.
β’ Monitor Message Queues, Batches
β’ Handle daily user requests and other operational needs.
β’ Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement permanent fixes under problem management.
β’ Monitor system health using Datadog and Splunk logs, proactively identifying and addressing anomalies.
β’ Collaborate with the Development Teams and other stakeholders to share insights from recent incidents and problems, aiding in resolution.
Requirements:
β’ At least 6 years of experience in PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter Analyst experience.
β’ Strong Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Domain
β’ Strong technical expertise and work experience in GW ClaimCenter Integration.
β’ Knowledge of GOSU scripting is a must.
β’ Database skills preferably in SQL Server 2012 or ORACLE 11g.
β’ Conversant with expansion, new development, and maintenance projects
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Must demonstrate clear abilities to independently work on complex technical incidents/defects/ tasks.
β’ Need to be excellent team player.
β’ Having hands on experience on CC and PC Configuration areas is a plus.
