Position Overview We are seeking a Data Engineer / Data Governance Specialist to support enterprise data engineering and governance initiatives. This role focuses on implementing data management solutions, establishing master and reference data, and ensuring high data quality across large-scale systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Informatica tools, data governance frameworks, and enterprise data environments. Key Responsibilities • Support data engineering and data governance initiatives across enterprise platforms • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Informatica tools • Establish and manage master data and reference data for enterprise systems • Implement and enforce data quality rules using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) • Work with business and technical teams to define data standards and governance practices • Analyze data requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions • Support data integration, transformation, and data lifecycle management processes • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance across systems • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data governance processes and frameworks • Document data models, workflows, and governance policies Required Qualifications • 10+ years of experience working with Informatica tools including PowerCenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360 • 10+ years of experience establishing master data and reference data for large organizations • 10+ years of experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) • Strong understanding of data governance, data modeling, and enterprise data architecture • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with large-scale datasets in Snowflake • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Master’s degree or additional relevant experience preferred • Experience in healthcare or public health environments • Experience working with state agencies or government environments • Experience with Python scripting for automation and API integrations Why Join 4A • Be part of a mission-driven, women-owned consulting firm with a reputation for excellence. • Work on high-impact projects across federal and commercial clients. • Collaborate in an inclusive, growth-oriented culture where innovation is valued. • Access career development programs, mentorship, and learning opportunities. • Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, flexible work options, and a focus on work-life balance.
