Informatica PowerCenter Developer

Job Description Seeking an Informatica PowerCenter Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise ETL solutions. The role involves building scalable data integration workflows, optimizing performance, and ensuring secure, compliant software development practices across enterprise data environments. Core Responsibilities • Follow SDLC processes to design, develop, configure, test, debug, and document ETL and application components. • Develop and maintain Informatica PowerCenter workflows, mappings, sessions, and workflows for enterprise data integration. • Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional and business requirements. • Review functional, design, and architecture documents and provide technical feedback. • Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure quality and performance standards. • Develop operational and system-level documentation for ETL processes and data pipelines. • Implement secure coding practices in alignment with industry security standards and compliance requirements. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience working with Informatica PowerCenter in medium to large enterprise environments. • Strong hands-on experience designing and developing Informatica workflows and ETL solutions. • 4+ years of strong SQL experience (complex queries, optimization, stored procedures). • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling. • Experience in ETL design, data mapping, data integration, migration, and data warehousing. • Experience in performance tuning, job recovery, failure handling, logging, and alerting mechanisms. • Familiarity with DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, and related database technologies. Preferred Skills • Development experience in Java / J2EE. • Exposure to Azure Data Factory. • Experience in banking or insurance domain. • Knowledge of ETL orchestration, scheduling, and file handling scripts.
