TITLE: Sr. advisory IT business analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / HRIS Business Systems Lead to support and enhance HR technology solutions across North America. This role will act as the bridge between HR business teams, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to manage SaaS applications, system integrations, implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise applications, stakeholder communication, project execution, requirements gathering, and change management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Manage HR technology projects, SaaS applications, and system enhancements from planning through implementation.
• Partner with HR business teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, testing activities, training, deployment, and post-production support.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business users, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Manage project timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Support application integrations, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Provide functional support and guidance to end users.
• Participate in SaaS platform evaluations, implementations, and vendor/service discussions.
• Ensure systems remain stable, compliant, secure, and highly available.
• Maintain project documentation, process documentation, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
• Follow established project management methodologies and governance processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of IT Project Management, Business Systems, HRIS, or Application Management experience.
• Strong experience with SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, and system integrations.
• Experience managing Agile and/or Waterfall projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with requirements gathering, UAT/testing, implementation, and production support.
• Experience with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Experience with HRIS/HCM platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, ADP, or PeopleSoft.
