Information Technology Business Analyst

Are you a technical problem-solver who enjoys bridging the gap between complex IT infrastructure and corporate business needs? We are looking for an IT Business Systems Analyst to join a client's team and support the success of their Corporate Business Units (CBUs). The Impact You’ll Make • Strategic Liaison: Act as a key bridge between our corporate business units and the IT department, facilitating communication and translating business needs into technical solutions. • Technical Problem Solver: Acknowledge and resolve service tickets within SLAs, perform root cause analysis, and execute SQL scripts to resolve functional and technical issues. • System Support: Maintain front and backend applications, analyze environment logs, and support Windows and Linux-based systems. • Process Optimizer: Analyze business processes to identify technology opportunities that reduce costs and improve efficiency. • Quality & Documentation: Contribute to QA testing, support end-users during deployments, and maintain clear project documentation. What We’re Looking For • Technical Foundation: 1+ years of experience in an IT or technical analyst role. You should be comfortable with Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic database concepts (MS SQL or Oracle). • Analytical Mindset: Ability to gather and prioritize business needs (BRDs) and a desire to work with data tools like Power BI or MS Power Apps. • Agile & Proactive: Experience (or a strong interest) in Agile working environments. You are self-motivated and take ownership of assigned tasks. • Security Awareness: Understanding of SSO integration, cybersecurity stacks, and compliance controls (such as SOX) is a major plus. • Relationship Builder: Excellent communication skills to foster relations between system users and technical team members. Key Qualifications • Proficiency in Windows OS and basic computer architecture (Databases, ETLs, Network, Firewalls). • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Experience with (or ability to quickly learn) ServiceNow. • Strong customer focus and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
