Role description
IT Business Analyst (Digital Systems) required by a global services organisation, working remotely with some travel largely to the North West. The business is mid‑way through a major digital initiative forming part of a wider, high‑impact IT transformation programme. Assignment – IT Business Analyst (Digital Systems) Location – Remote with some travel largely to the North West (maximum one day per week) Skills – IT Business Analyst, IT Business Analysis, Digital Systems, Business Process Mapping, Test Scripts/Test Cases, UAT, Agile, Waterfall, Stakeholder Management, Booking Systems Rate – £450 to £550 + VAT per day (outside IR35) Duration – Initially three months with a potential extension for an additional three months The IT Business Analyst (Digital Systems) will bring proven experience in IT business analysis including some within complex digital environments. You will have a strong background in business process documentation, hands‑on experience producing test scripts, test cases and UAT documentation, can work effectively across both Agile and Waterfall delivery models and understand booking, reservation, property and/or or capacity management systems (or similar). Strong communication, problem‑solving, self-discipline, initiative and stakeholder engagement competencies are also essential. Any experience of Salesforce and/or vendor management is desirable but not essential. You will join a client currently progressing through a digital initiative designed to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. The next phase focuses on the development and implementation of a new booking engine, the core deliverable of this assignment, delivered in partnership with a Tier 1 vendor. You will document processes, create technical specifications and support the seamless delivery of the booking engine, alongside contributing to related projects including a mobile app and loyalty scheme. The assignment is initially for three months with a potential extension for an additional three months.
