Role description
IT Business Analyst Duration: Until 31st March 2026 Day rate: Up to £650 Per Day Location: Stratford, London Your recruitment contact is Sartaj via Sartaj.Deol@hays.com. About the organisation Our client is an independent regulatory body in the UK responsible for ensuring the financial markets work well for the consumers and the economy, promoting market integrity and effective competition. Role Responsibilities: • Defining the Business Analysis approach keeping in line with the client’s framework, ensuring the project is within scope • Liaising with data management specialists, intelligence and technology product owners, data scientists and signal users across multiple teams • Establishing and running the ongoing refresh process, ensuring record management to increase operational efficiency • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver project outcomes to the highest standards, adding value for the whole team Skills: Minimum: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant • Prior experience within the financial services or public sector (ideally IT consultancy) • Demonstratable experience working within environments involving business and IT change Essential: • Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies • Ability to build and maintain stakeholders, creating strong working relationships • Knowledge of business analysis tools, techniques and best practice approaches Disability Confident: our hiring approach We’re proud to be a Disability Confident Employer, and therefore, people or individuals with disabilities and long-term conditions who best meet the minimum criteria for a role will go through to the next stage of the recruitment process.
