Role description
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst / Project Manager with strong IT and insurance operations experience to support the design, enhancement, and delivery of technology solutions within a Property & Casualty insurance environment. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to evaluate end‑to‑end processes, translate business requirements into system functionality, and deliver scalable solutions across interconnected platforms. The ideal candidate has experience working within brokerage or policy administration systems, understands P&C insurance workflows, and is comfortable leading initiatives that combine business transformation with technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform end‑to‑end analysis of business processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities across insurance operations
• Act as a Business Analyst and Project Manager, owning initiatives from discovery through delivery and post‑implementation support
• Partner with underwriting, operations, IT, and external stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements and business rules
• Translate business rules and operational needs into functional and system requirements for use within brokerage and insurance platforms
• Support the design and build of new applications, as well as enhancements to existing systems
• Coordinate and manage system changes, including process updates, controls, and documentation
• Oversee dependencies and integrations across connected systems and applications
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Support testing, validation, and implementation of system enhancements
• Ensure solutions align with operational needs, compliance standards, and internal controls
Required Qualifications
• Strong experience in Business Analysis and Project Management within a technology-driven environment
• Demonstrated background in Property & Casualty insurance (highly preferred)
• Experience working with insurance systems, including brokerage, policy administration, or related platforms
• Solid understanding of business rules, workflows, and operational processes, with the ability to translate them into system logic
• Proven ability to manage initiatives involving multiple systems and integrations
• Hands-on Operational IT experience, bridging business and technical teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across diverse groups
• Strong documentation, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting global or enterprise insurance organizations
• Familiarity with system controls, governance, and change management
• Exposure to Agile, hybrid, or traditional project methodologies
• Experience leading or supporting application buildouts and large-scale system initiatives
