Information Technology Business Analyst

IT Business Analyst Position Overview We are seeking an IT Business Analyst with 3–5 years of experience to support both project initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) activities. This individual will play a key role in gathering and translating business requirements, supporting financial systems, and contributing to complex project implementations. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, confident in leading requirements sessions, and comfortable working across both ongoing operational support and project-based work. Key Responsibilities • Lead and facilitate business requirements gathering sessions • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements • Support large, complex projects from conception through implementation • Provide ongoing BAU support to develop and maintain deep application knowledge • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Agile environments • Assist with system enhancements, integrations, and financial system optimization Required Qualifications • 3–5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience working in Agile development environments • Experience supporting financial applications or transactional finance systems • Ability to balance project work with ongoing operational support Preferred Qualifications • Fund Accounting experience • Private equity experience • Management fee and carry waterfall calculations • Experience with: • Adaptive Planning • Qashqade modeling and planning systems • Knowledge of: • System integrations • MS SQL Studio • Azure DevOps • Synapse • Snowflake Rate Range: $50- 69/HR
