Carex is partnering with a consumer goods industry partner to identify a Data & Reporting Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and process optimization within a Global Business Services (GBS) environment. This role focuses on transforming complex financial and operational data into actionable insights through advanced analytics, reporting tools, and automation. The position works closely with business leaders and operational teams to improve reporting capabilities, standardize processes, and promote a culture of data quality and continuous improvement. Location: Remote (U.S.-based) or Hybrid depending on business needs. What You’ll Do • Develop and deliver reports that translate complex data into actionable business intelligence for operational and functional leaders • Design and maintain KPI dashboards to measure performance across GBS regional trading partners • Identify, retrieve, query, and aggregate data from internal databases and external data sources to support reporting and analysis • Develop and implement reporting, data download, and process automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability • Partner with stakeholders to identify reporting and automation needs and define solutions that meet business requirements • Establish and promote processes that enable business users to access and analyze data through analytical tools • Train and advise operations teams on reporting processes, tools, and best practices • Collaborate with global analytics teams and regional reporting partners to ensure consistency in reporting methods and messaging • Promote the standardization and documentation of reporting processes and analytical methodologies • Support the timely and accurate preparation of key performance reports used to evaluate organizational performance and compliance with operational objectives • Analyze complex business processes to identify opportunities for standardization, optimization, and automation • Contribute to building a culture of data quality, transparency, and strategic insight within the organization What You’ll Bring • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or a related quantitative field • 3–5 years of experience in a quantitative or analytical role, preferably involving database administration or data analytics • Experience working in a Shared Services Centre or Global Business Services environment with exposure to financial or accounting processes • Advanced experience with Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Visual Basic for data analysis, reporting, and automation • Experience developing dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Knime, Alteryx, or Power Apps • Working knowledge of database systems and financial reporting platforms such as SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar tools • Ability to develop queries and extract insights from complex relational data models and aggregated datasets • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights • Experience supporting reporting automation initiatives and data-driven business improvements • Exposure to M&A processes and understanding of OTC, ATR, and PTP processes is considered an advantage • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders Carex Consulting Group is an equal opportunity employer.
