Your future duties and responsibilities:
We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer/Engineer experienced in implementing Field Service Management (FSM) and Customer Service Management (CSM) modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow's out-of-the-box (OOB) capabilities, with a disciplined approach of customizing only when pre-approved and justified.
This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining FSM and CSM applications, ensuring alignment with platform governance, best practices, and business objectives.
• Deliver FSM and CSM module implementations, emphasizing OOB functionality.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Perform fit-gap analysis to determine configuration vs. customization needs, ensuring all customizations are formally approved.
• Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow components such as Flows, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Integrations.
• Work with ServiceNow Architects and the Platform Owner to enforce development standards, governance, and reusability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and deployment instructions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
• LetEnsure system performance, scalability, and maintainability across implemented solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5+ yrs of ServiceNow development experience, including implementing FSM and CSM.
• Proven record of delivering OOB-first ServiceNow implementations.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript/Glide), and integration approaches (REST/SOAP, MID Server).
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Scoped Applications.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow security, ACLs, and roles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Certifications:
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required.
• Implementation Specialist – CSM or FSM – preferred.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in Agile / DevOps delivery environments.
• Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, or other ServiceNow modules.
• Experience using Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.
