Role description
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Developer in Plano, TX. Duties:
β’ Infrastructure Developer will design, implement, and support cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS services
β’ Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for automated cloud resource provisioning
β’ Build, deploy, and optimize applications and integrations using Python (or Java) within the AWS ecosystem
β’ Engineer and manage Amazon Connect environments, including configuration of IAM, Lex, Lambda, KMS, S3, and Kinesis
β’ Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Jules and manage code repositories with Git/Bitbucket
β’ Rapidly prototype proof-of-concept solutions and scale them to production-ready systems
β’ As an Infrastructure Developer, you will monitor, debug, and provide production support for large-scale environments using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and CloudWatch
β’ Implement and support RESTful APIs for contact center integrations and automation
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient voice solutions
β’ Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure engineering, automation, and data fluency
β’ Support container orchestration and deployment in AWS Cloud environments
β’ Apply best practices for data security, compliance, and call recording in telephony platforms
β’ Stay current with AWS certifications and emerging cloud technologies
Requirements
β’ Significant experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development
β’ Experience in large scale software development in one or more of the programming languages (C, C++, Perl, Python, Java, C#, .NET); Enterprise scale and resiliency
β’ Experience in system and software security and entitlements (SSO, windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD)
β’ Modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization, cloud)
β’ Experience with Agile development process and automated testing
β’ Experience working across large infrastructure environments and distributed across multiple data centers
β’ Experience in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration
β’ Experience in Systems and Application monitoring systems and instrumentation
β’ Proficient in at least one of the infrastructure disciplines and functions: Internals of distributed Operating System (Unix/Linux, Windows, Z/OS) internals; Systems programming; Network programming
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
