Infrastructure Developer/ Analyst

Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Infrastructure Developer/ Analyst @ Knutsford, UK (Hybrid Working) Key area: • We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Developer to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure solutions that support enterprise applications and services. • The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in systems administration, networking, and development, with a focus on automation and scalability. • Design, build, and maintain infrastructure across Windows and Unix environments. • Manage and optimize networking components to ensure secure and efficient connectivity. • Administer and troubleshoot databases to support application performance and reliability. • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure operations. • Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure with application requirements. • Infrastructure Knowledge: Proven experience in managing enterprise-grade infrastructure. • Operating Systems: Windows Server and/or Unix/Linux expertise (both preferred). • Networking: Strong understanding of network protocols, configuration, and security. • Database: Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases. • Development & Automation: • Proficiency in Java and Python for scripting and application integration. • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or similar)."
