Role description

Title – Insights Analyst

Location – Greenwood Village, CO (3 Days Onsite 2 Days Remote)

Structure – Long Term Contract

Pay Rate: $50+/hour (depending on experience)

Overview:

As the Performance Insights Analyst, you’ll use analytics tracking to improve customer experience and product performance across our client’s digital platforms (news, sports, web, mobile, and TV apps). You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and analysts to ensure tracking accuracy, analyze digital behavior, and deliver actionable business insights.

The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is not a project management role, but you'll be expected to work independently, take ownership of loosely defined asks, and drive tracking initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

   • Work with developers and stakeholders to define analytics tracking requirements and ensure accurate data collection across multiple platforms

   • Gather, document, and validate requirements using user stories, use cases, and process flows

   • Analyze tracking requests in relation to the current system architecture and identify gaps

   • Assist in translating business needs into technical specifications and support testing/QA workflows

   • Maintain and improve data quality by identifying anomalies and validating tracking implementations

   • Collaborate with dev teams and QA to ensure events are firing as expected (using tools like Charles Proxy)

   • Build dashboards and reporting models to interpret data trends and provide insights to stakeholders

   • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and regular check-ins

   • Support UAT and assist with validating bugs or workflow issues

Required Skills:

   • 2+ years of experience in digital/product analytics, with exposure to customer-facing platforms

   • Strong understanding of analytics tracking strategies and data layer implementation

   • Experience with tools such as:

   • Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, GTM (Google Tag Manager)

   • Snowflake, SQL, dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)

   • Charles Proxy or similar tag validation/debugging tools

   • Experience writing and refining user stories in Jira or similar tools

   • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable tracking strategies and data insights

Nice to Have:

   • Experience with Adobe Target or Google Optimize (not required)

   • Familiarity with mobile, Roku, and connected TV tracking environments

   • Ability to read basic frontend code or understand dev workflows is a plus

   • Familiarity with React is a bonus — being able to "talk the talk" with developers and read React code is helpful for collaboration
