Role description
CSI Companies is seeking an Insurance Data Modeling Analyst professional to support insurance-focused data modeling, reporting, and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on analyzing insurance data, developing data models, and supporting reporting and dashboard solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong insurance domain experience along with SQL, business analysis, and technical architecture exposure. This position plays a key role in translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Hours: Monday–Friday standard business hours | 40 hours/week
Location: Hybrid - Austin, TX
Pay: $42–$48/hour
Position Type: Contract – No C2C
Work Authorization:
Visas are acceptable (any EAD). Candidates must be eligible to work on W2 and must not require sponsorship for at least 6–12 months.
What you’ll do
• Design, develop, and maintain data models to support insurance reporting and analytics needs.
• Analyze insurance data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Develop and support reporting and dashboards for business and operational stakeholders.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
• Collaborate with technical architecture teams to align data models with enterprise standards.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and ongoing model optimization.
• Document data definitions, business rules, and model logic.
What we’re looking for
• 6+ years of experience in data analysis or data modeling roles.
• Insurance domain experience.
• Strong SQL experience for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with reporting and dashboard development.
• Business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and stakeholder collaboration.
• Exposure to technical or data architecture concepts.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice to have
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale insurance data environments.
• Familiarity working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
