Integration Lead – Middleware, Cloud & APIs Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Integration Lead to oversee enterprise integration projects using middleware platforms like Logic Apps, Boomi, and other iPaaS solutions. You will lead design, development, and optimization of integrations across databases, REST APIs, and hybrid cloud environments (Azure/AWS), driving scalable data flows and automation. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end integration projects using Logic Apps, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar middleware for connecting SaaS apps, on-prem systems, and custom services. • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, ETL pipelines, and real-time data integrations with relational/NoSQL databases. • Architect cloud-native solutions on Azure (Data Factory, Service Bus, Logic Apps) and AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Glue), ensuring security, scalability, and cost efficiency. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define integration patterns (pub/sub, request-reply), and implement monitoring/alerting. • Write custom logic and connectors using Java, Groovy scripts, Python, or low-code scripting for complex transformations and orchestration. • Perform code/script reviews, optimize performance (e.g., data factory pipelines, caching), troubleshoot production issues, and conduct root cause analysis. • Mentor integration developers, establish best practices, and drive CI/CD automation for deployment pipelines. • Ensure compliance with security standards (OAuth/JWT, encryption) and governance across hybrid/multi-cloud environments. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 8+ years in enterprise integration, with hands-on experience leading multiple projects using Logic Apps, Boomi, or equivalent middleware. • Strong expertise in REST API design/development, JSON/XML processing, and API management tools. • Proficiency with databases: relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB, DynamoDB) for data integration/migration. • Deep knowledge of Azure services (Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions, Synapse) and AWS equivalents (Step Functions, AppFlow). • Experience with at least one programming language: Java, Groovy (Boomi scripting), Python for custom connectors/logic. • Proven track record in Agile/DevOps environments with Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, and containerization (Docker). • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills for cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications • Certifications: Azure Data Engineer/Integration Specialist, AWS Certified Developer, Boomi Developer. • Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Event Grid), RPA tools, or SAP/Oracle integrations. • Familiarity with Data Mesh, API gateways (Kong, Apigee), and observability (Application Insights, CloudWatch). • Experience: 8+ years
